MATERIALS AND PROCESSES
the materials used are: Expanded PVC, Polystyrene, MDF, Resin, epoxy putty and e.v.a for some details.
Polystyrene is a resistant and durable polymer.
PVC is a porous material and allows me to sculpt with ease.
I use automotive spray paint, automotive primer and varnish, acrylic paint on a brush and Chinese lacquer.
The pieces are cut with templates and carved by hand using a utility knife and then several preparatory sandings.
Some parts are glued and others are screwed during the final assembly process.
To theloftwings For shields, reflective adhesive is used and for mirror shields, mirrored polyester adhesive is used.
